Job Description
We’re seeking an Assistant Technical Purchaser to strengthen our procurement operations. The right candidate will have a strong technical background, proven negotiation skills, and experience working with suppliers to ensure cost-effective, timely purchasing.
Responsibilities:
Review RFQs & recommend quotations
Source & negotiate with suppliers
Provide technical input for projects
Process purchase orders & maintain records
Monitor supplier performance & support inventory management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Engineering
5+ years’ experience
Knowledge of industrial equipment/spare parts (asset)
Must live in Kingston or St. Catherine
