The Issa Trust Foundation’s 20th Anniversary “For the Children” event features Shaggy in concert with special guest Lila Ike
This event will not only showcase these incredible talent but also create a powerful platform to rally support for Jamaica’s children, turning an evening of music into a movement of compassion and change.
The Issa Trust Foundation
Founded in 2005, the Issa Trust Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of Couples Resorts, dedicated to enhancing paediatric healthcare and education in Jamaica. The mission of the Foundation is to provide a system of prevention, health promotion and education, community health improvement and other services to promote well-being and development for the people of Jamaica.
Since its inception, the Issa Trust Foundation has provided approximately US $41 million in medical donations, conducted annual paediatric medical missions, and established sustainable healthcare programs that have significantly lowered neonatal mortality rates in Jamaica. In addition to providing free medical care, we mentor and train local healthcare professionals, offer biomedical engineering training to maintain critical care equipment, and support children in schools through our educational programs—ensuring a lasting impact on the health and development of Jamaica’s youth.
Our Past Events
The Issa Trust Foundation has organized numerous concerts in Jamaica, combining the island’s rich cultural heritage with our mission to support paediatric healthcare.
We started our first concert at Couples Sans Souci in 2017 and have continued to host concerts every other year thereafter. Our concerts have featured some of the most iconic names in reggae and international music, including Michael Bolton, Air Supply, Third World, Gramps Morgan, Ky-Mani Marley, Tessanne Chin, and Tarrus Riley, to name a few.
